ibbi, llc was started April 1, 1995 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa by Dennis “Denny” Ibbotson after sales positions with Moore Business Forms for 10 years & Duplex Products for 13 years that were the 1st & 4th largest direct business forms manufacturers in the US at the time. For the first 2 years he was assigned a territory calling on small & medium-sized businesses. For the next 21 years he was specifically assigned to larger companies in Eastern Iowa such as: Amana Refrigeration, American College Testing (ACT), Bandag, John Deere, & Rockwell-Collins to name a few. The experience & expertise that he gained during those 23 years provide ibbi, llc with the ability to meet the needs of any business regardless of its size.
However, after careful study & evaluation of market trends, the decision was made to have the company focus primarily on small & medium-sized businesses. Despite the existence of thousands of these businesses, he found that there were very few vendors who could or would provide printed products & services at competitive prices to them. He also found that the customer service for those vendors was often inexperienced, impersonal, & below average. He then positioned ibbi, llc to be able to capitalize on those weaknesses so that small & medium-sized businesses could order all of their printed products through ibbi, llc, saving them both time & money, that has proven to be a very successful marketing strategy.
The best result of that marketing strategy was the tremendous growth in providing tax forms, tax preparation supplies & envelopes to a large number of accounting firms, their clients, & colleges. Although we will continue having a full-line of printed products available to all businesses as needed, we have decided to primarily focus on providing tax forms, tax preparation supplies & envelopes to as many new accounting firms, their clients, & colleges as possible.
